This handmade drum is called a madal, part of the mridangam family of drums. It's a double-sided drum that is usually worn around the neck and played with one or two fingers. Handmade in Nepal from jackfruit wood and goat skin. Includes one drum only. Larger Madal about 17.5” long, smaller Madal about 12.5” long.
