Yoga Nidra Saturday’s @9:30am
Join Courtney Rose on Saturdays 9:30-10:45am for the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra, also known as Yogic Sleep.
You will be guided into a state of deep relaxation with soothing cues and visualization. Progressive muscle relaxation is used to release tension from the body and harmonize brain activity. The experience is enriched with healing sounds and soft music.
Also included is the practice of Sankalpa. This is a Sanskrit word meaning an intention formed by the heart. In a state of relaxation it is easier to align with our deepest wishes without the interference of fear and doubt. You will connect with a Sankalpa at the beginning of practice and Courtney will invite inner and outer alignment to assist in the fruition of your cherished heart wishes.
Clinical research shows that one hour of this practice can be the equivalent to four hours of REM sleep. Great for reducing stress and a step toward alleviating chronic fatigue.
