Hello and Welcome to our newly enhanced website!  

Floating Lotus, a quaint little store we established in scenic Rockport Massachusetts, provides authentic, attractive & durable merchandise to a growing number of “conscious shoppers” around the world.  You can feel good about your purchase in our shop, or online, knowing that we hand select each product from an array of talented craftspeople that we've cultivated deep, enjoyable and trusting relationships with.

Together we set high standards and honest prices, employing fair-trade practices that empower the producers of our hand-made goods to reach broader markets while greatly enhancing their employment conditions. Ultimately, this effort works to help alleviate poverty in their community by promoting a more localised and sustainable economy.

We spent a number of years living and working in Asia and during that time we developed a great appreciation for the diversity in cultures and traditions we found throughout our travels in Nepal, Tibet and Southeast Asia.  Having developed close relationships with all of our artisans, we happily return each winter to hand-select every piece that we offer to our customers.

On the website and at the store, we truly appreciate the opportunity to share amazing Floating Lotus treasures, relationships and experiences with our customers in the States and beyond! Our talented friends from across the globe are also extremely grateful for your continued support, as well!
